At Enchanted Tools, we are bringing a new generation of robots to life.
Combining world-class engineering expertise and the power of imagination, we plan to make everyone’s life better with robotic characters. Our robots can glide, grasp and interact with their environment, tackling concrete issues and needs.
Founded in 2021, we are now 100 enchanters, working in different fields (Robotics, AI, Product design, Project Management, Production, Quality, Supply chain, Finance, Marketing, HR, Sales, ...) and we keep growing, thanks to our strong relationships with a variety of investors and partners.
We revealed our two prototypes to the world and are now ready for the next steps of our adventure: industrialize our production, starting with a pilot line at the heart of Paris, then building a plant ; and selling our robots at a global scale. We built a whole ecosystem and rely on well-established partnerships to achieve our ambitious projects. We are looking for passionate, creative and curious experts to join us.

Cameras and other sensors enable perception on robots. These elements must be selected a evaluated considering the following constraints:
Impact on computing load and software design
Sensor choice impacts the processing stack and represents criteria for computing platform selection. That’s why a benchmark and tests are needed to identify a good combination of sensor + computing platform. At this point, some preferred candidates are identified. The intern will participate in the development of our new robot visual perception sub-system.
This camera benchmark and testing will be the main mission of the student, but it will also be integrated into the more global context of our industrialization phase, where performance, costs, and schedule constraints drive our daily duties. Some other tasks might be assigned to the student depending on his/her skills. The student will report to one of our Industrialization Managers.
Challenge current camera and sensor choices and define metrics and protocol to validate the final choice
Build a test bench for cameras
Test the preferred choices: Implement needed testing software and document the tests.
Participate in discussions with hardware and software providers
Participate in the design of the custom visual perception module
Informatics or Robotics engineering last year student with knowledge in electronics
C++ and/or Python programming language
Knowledge of Electronics, ideally camera sensors and camera interfaces
Capable to build hardware (test-bench)
Additional: some knowledge of Classic or Deep Learning computer Vision
