At Enchanted Tools, we are bringing a new generation of robots to life.
Combining world-class engineering expertise and the power of imagination, we plan to make everyone’s life better with robotic characters. Our robots can glide, grasp and interact with their environment, tackling concrete issues and needs.
Founded in 2021, we are now 100 enchanters, working in different fields (Robotics, AI, Product design, Project Management, Production, Quality, Supply chain, Finance, Marketing, HR, Sales, ...) and we keep growing, thanks to our strong relationships with a variety of investors and partners.
We revealed our two prototypes to the world and are now ready for the next steps of our adventure: industrialize our production, starting with a pilot line at the heart of Paris, then building a plant ; and selling our robots at a global scale. We built a whole ecosystem and rely on well-established partnerships to achieve our ambitious projects. We are looking for passionate, creative and curious experts to join us.

Your mission will be to develop, configure and maintain the Linux OS images and associated tools for our robots' different embedded boards (Nvidia Jetson).
Your day-to-day job will consist of the following tasks:
Customize the board support package for our boards.
Configure and upgrade the Linux kernel (RT preempt patch)
Choose and configure the cross toolchains (Buildroot or Yocto, Nvidia Jetpack)
Provide the rootfs and manage software dependencies
Automate the deployment and flashing of OS images and application binaries on the robot.
Provide repeatable dev environments for developers and the CI (docker)
Participate in discussions about hardware/software architecture
Automate integration tests of the application with the target OS (hardware in the loop)
You have already built custom Linux images for target devices like Nvidia Jetson, RPI or custom boards.
You are familiar with one or more cross-compilation tools like Buildroot or Yocto or you have at least experience on Nvidia Jetson boards.
You have some experience with Cmake.
You like robotics and have already built or worked on robots, either professionally or as a hobby.
Writing some kernel modules, or some c/c++ applications on embedded devices/robots with real-time constraints is a plus.
