Job description

Enchanted Tools is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Leader to spearhead our quality assurance initiatives as we transition into the industrialization phase of our robotic production. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for excellence, and a track record of implementing robust quality control processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with our R&D, industrialization, RAQA and IVV leaders. 


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control processes and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality robotic products.

- Establish and maintain quality standards, specifications, and metrics in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Specifically, develop a control plan in response to the FMEAs.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, Test and sourcing teams to identify and address quality issues and non-conformities throughout the product life cycle, and especially into the pilot line and with the component suppliers.

- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to continuously improve product quality and reliability.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.

- Drive supplier quality management initiatives, including supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring.

- Partner with external certification bodies and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary quality certifications and approvals.

- Report quality metrics required by the organization.

Profile

- Master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the robotics or mechatronics industry, and in product development and launch environment

- Proven track record of implementing and managing quality management systems (QMS) by ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.

- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and Six Sigma.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results amidst ambiguity and uncertainty.
