Created in 2021, Enchanted Tools is a team of 50+ mechatronics and AI experts united to create a groundbreaking new species of service robots, the Mirokaï. Performing critical social logistics tasks in public environments, the Mirokaï address worker shortage in healthcare (hospitals, nursing homes...) and other essential sectors (hospitality, industry...). Enchanted Tools is led by Jérôme Monceaux, former EVP at a leading robotics company.

In November 2022, we presented our prototype, developed in 12 months only.

We are looking for a Mechatronics / Robotics Engineer to lead our Navigation team. 
Navigation team is composed of multiple skills (from hardware to high level software) all oriented to make our robot navigate. They have designed our mechatronics solution and developed a software solution with obstacle detection, computer vision.

At Enchanted Tools, Team Leaders are:

-Able to drive the company’s course, and change it if necessary
-Reducing project delivery times,  by iterating, by finding simplex, by helping Industrialisation, Development and research work together
-Increasing the productivity of the company by boosting team cohesion and maintain motivation, setting the pace of projects and Develop the skills of its employees
-Satisfy internal customers (CEO and all stakeholders in the project), by meeting their expectations 
-Work cross-functionally with all other teams
-Participate in strengthening the company's organization, working methods
-Bringing culture and values to life on a daily basis
-Technical: Technical support to teams, technical foresight, technical position statement

More specifically, as the Team Lead Mechatronics / Robotics, you will:

You manage the team and implement a performance and customer oriented, collaborative and team spirited agile culture. Empowering the team members to work self-organized in their agile project teams contributes to the success of our project.

-You hold a degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent
-You have significant experience in a similar role, ideally in a robotics environment.
-Experience in autonomous navigation products
-You have demonstrated skills in computer programming, automation, electronics, robot controlling and interfacing, field network,...
-You are able to lead a team of robotics engineers thanks to your leadership skills
-You are able to challenge ideas and make impactful decisions
-You are able to work collectively and engage various teams on your projects
-You have an engineering background with at least 6 years of experience in robotics, especially in navigation robotics projects with a 360 comprehension of the project (needs and business areas, hardware, embedded software)
-You appreciate specialized subjects, you are versatile, willing, intellectually curious, solution-oriented and passionate. You wish to take up a new challenge, to participate in a human and technological adventure
-English (fluent)
